AI skaidrumo pranešimas

Last updated 16 September 2026.

GYMMER includes an AI coach. This notice explains what it is, what it can and cannot do, and what happens to what you tell it. It exists because Article 50 of the EU Artificial Intelligence Act requires providers of AI systems that interact with people to say so plainly — obligations that have applied since 2 August 2026.

You are talking to a machine

The GYMMER coach is an AI system. It is not a personal trainer, not a physiotherapist, and not a member of our staff. No human reads your messages as they arrive or writes the replies. We tell you this here, and again in the app at the point where the conversation starts, so it cannot be missed at first use.

What it does

The coach reads the training data you have logged — your workouts, exercises, sets and progress — along with the message you send, and generates a reply. It can suggest exercises, comment on your progress, explain a movement, and help you think about how to structure a week of training.

The reply is generated by a large language model operated on our behalf by Ollama as a processor. Your conversations are not used to train that model or anyone else's.

What it cannot do, and where it gets things wrong

The coach generates text that is statistically likely, not text that is verified. That has consequences you should hold in mind:

  • It can be confidently wrong. A fluent, specific answer is not evidence of a correct one. It can invent exercises, misstate the muscles a movement works, or give a number it has no basis for.
  • It does not know your body. It sees what you logged. It does not know your injuries, your medical history, your medication or how you slept, unless you tell it — and it cannot examine you.
  • It gives no medical advice. It cannot diagnose, and it cannot judge whether a pain is soreness or an injury. For that, see a doctor or a physiotherapist. This is set out in the terms of service.
  • It is not consistent. The same question can produce different answers.

Treat its output as a suggestion from a well-read stranger who cannot see you: sometimes useful, always worth checking, never authoritative about your health.

How AI content is marked

Every reply from the coach is visibly labelled as AI-generated in the interface. Where we publish or export AI-generated text, it is marked in a machine-readable form so that it can be detected as artificially generated, as Article 50(2) requires.

GYMMER does not generate synthetic images, audio or video, and does not produce deep fakes. It does not use emotion recognition or biometric categorisation. It does not attempt to infer your emotional state.

It does not decide anything about you

The coach makes suggestions. It does not decide anything with legal or similarly significant effect: not your access to the service, not your account standing, not pricing, not eligibility for any feature. Those are ordinary product rules, not model outputs. Article 22 GDPR, on automated individual decision-making, therefore does not apply.

Human oversight

You are the oversight. Nothing the coach suggests happens automatically — it cannot change your programme, alter your logged data or send anything on your behalf. You decide what to act on.

If the coach produces something harmful, wrong or offensive, tell us at mail@gymmer.com. We read these reports, and they are how we find failure modes we did not anticipate.

Risk classification

We consider the coach a limited-risk AI system under the AI Act, subject to the transparency duties in Article 50 and not to the requirements for high-risk systems in Annex III. It is a general fitness and wellbeing assistant; it is not used for employment, education, credit, insurance, law enforcement, or access to essential services, and it is not a medical device under the Medical Devices Regulation.

If we ever build a feature that changes that assessment, we will update this notice and tell you before it ships.

Turning it off

The coach is optional. Do not open it and no message of yours is ever sent to a model. Nothing else in GYMMER depends on it — you can log workouts, track progress and use goals without ever talking to it.

Data protection

What the coach receives, how long it is kept and the legal basis for processing it are set out in the privacy policy. In short: your messages and relevant training context, kept for a limited period, processed on the basis of your explicit consent for the health-related parts.
