Biceps Triceps
How to do it
- Stand between two high pulleys with a handle in each hand.
- Raise your upper arms until they are parallel to the floor.
- Keep your palms facing up and your elbows fixed in place.
- Curl the handles toward your ears while squeezing your biceps.
- Pause briefly at the top of the movement.
- Slowly lower the handles back to the starting position.
Common mistakes
- Dropping the elbows during the curl.
- Swinging the torso to generate momentum.
- Extending the wrists instead of keeping them neutral.
- Rushing the lowering phase of the rep.
Tips
- Keep your upper arms glued to the horizontal plane.
- Drive your elbows slightly forward to maximize the squeeze.
- Control the negative phase to increase time under tension.
