Works

  • Full Body

How to do it

  1. Step onto the side rails and start the machine at a slow walking pace.
  2. Grab the handrails briefly to step onto the moving belt safely.
  3. Release the rails and begin walking or running with an upright posture.
  4. Adjust the speed or incline gradually to reach your target intensity.
  5. Slow the belt down to a walk before stepping off onto the side rails.

Common mistakes

  • Holding the handrails while running, which reduces calorie burn.
  • Taking strides that are too long, causing excessive braking force.
  • Looking down at the console, leading to poor neck alignment.

Safety

Always clip the safety key to your clothing to stop the belt if you fall.

Tips

  • Look forward at the horizon rather than down at your feet.
  • Land softly on your mid-foot to reduce impact on your joints.
  • Swing your arms naturally in rhythm with your leg stride.
