Treadmill Walking

Walking occurs on a moving motorized belt

This low-impact cardio movement primarily targets the quadriceps while engaging the glutes, hamstrings, and calves. It builds aerobic endurance and leg strength with minimal joint stress.

HOW TO DO IT

  1. Step onto the side rails and straddle the moving belt.
  2. Select a manual mode or choose a preset program.
  3. Start the belt at a slow walking speed.
  4. Step onto the belt and establish a steady rhythm.
  5. Swing your arms naturally while keeping your torso upright.
  6. Press the stop button and step off when finished.

COMMON MISTAKES

  • Gripping the handrails too tightly.
  • Leaning forward or backward excessively.
  • Taking strides that are too long.
  • Looking down at the console constantly.

TIPS

  • Look forward rather than down at your feet.
  • Land softly on your heel and roll through to the toe.
  • Engage your core to prevent leaning on the handrails.

SAFETY

  • Always step onto the side rails before starting the belt to prevent falling.
