Works

  • Calves
  • Abdominals
  • Forearms
  • Shoulders

How to do it

  1. Stand tall with feet together and hands at hip level.
  2. Brace your abs tightly to stabilize the torso.
  3. Jump vertically just high enough to clear an imaginary rope.
  4. Rotate wrists in small circles as if holding handles.
  5. Land softly on the balls of your feet.
  6. Repeat immediately in a rhythmic, continuous motion.

Common mistakes

  • Jumping too high and wasting energy.
  • Swinging arms from the elbows instead of wrists.
  • Landing heavily on the heels.
  • Relaxing the core during landing.

Safety

Stop if you feel sharp pain in your shins, ankles or Achilles tendon.

Tips

  • Keep jumps low and fast to maintain rhythm.
  • Drive rotation from the wrists, not the shoulders.
  • Maintain a neutral spine throughout the set.
